ILIOT” Stands for Indigenous Livelihood Innovation Organization Team (ILIOT) registered as a Non-Profit Organization under the NGO Act No. 24/2002. The organization operates in Tanzania’s mainland. The organization came-up after a long experience and struggle of finding suitable solutions for environmental support and soil defects impacts resulting from climatic change, to pastoralists, farmers, and wildlife within the ecosystem. This goes together with finding solutions that ensure soil to become more productive by clearing hazardous plants like ‘Parthenium hysterophorus’ (Gugukaroti), a species of morning-glory of the genus Astripomoea, growing on a savanna in Maasai Steppe and national parks.
